APDSM (Acoustic Power Density Smart Measurement) technology is the core technology of SmartEQ. Through this technology, SmartEQ can precisely measure the frequency response of the in-car sound field and make precise adjustments using SmartEQ Filter technology, achieving perfect correction of the in-car sound field. APDSM technology solves the problem of inconsistent volume from single or multiple driver units by measuring sound wave interference in the space in front of the speakers. It can simultaneously optimize frequency response, time, and phase, making the sound closer to the original material. More importantly, APDSM technology can provide objective and true test results, almost unaffected by operator and environmental factors, greatly reducing acoustic design constraints for industrial and structural designers and significantly shortening development cycles.
SmartEQ Measure is a professional sound field measurement software equipped with APDSM technology, supporting mainstream desktop operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux, as well as Android and iOS mobile platforms. The software features a clean and intuitive interface with clear operation procedures, enabling quick completion of sound field measurement and correction work.
SmartEQ Filter is an innovative hybrid filter used to execute APDSM adjustments, cleverly combining the advantages of IIR and FIR filters. As a minimum-phase filter, it effectively avoids phase distortion, significantly reduces signal delay, and ensures precise speaker output signals. With the same filter resolution, SmartEQ Filter has lower computing power consumption, not only reducing system costs but also supporting various processor platforms, including DSP, CPU, MCU, and SoC. Meanwhile, it maintains extremely high precision, capable of precisely fitting various complex target curves. As shown in the figure below.

1. Run SmartEQ Measure software
2. Connect the calibration microphone to the device
3. Start the measurement program and play the sweep signal
4. Follow prompts to measure at multiple positions in the car
5. System automatically completes data calibration and transmits to car audio via USB or Bluetooth
